چرا رسول خدا(ص) باز کافران را به دين اسلام دعوت مى كرد؟
پرسش:
با توجّه به اين كه در سوره «كافرون» خدا به پيامبر(صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) فرمود كه كافران را به حال خود بگذار و به آن ها بگو من به دين خود باشم و شما به دين خود باشيد؛ چرا رسول خدا(صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) باز هم آنان را به دين اسلام دعوت مى كرد؟
پاسخ:
با سلام و عرض ادب و احترام
با تأمّل در شأن نزول سوره كافرون روشن خواهد گشت كه پيام خدا در اين سوره، هرگز به معنى الزام پيامبر(صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) به ترك دعوت به اسلام و تبليغ آن نبوده است. سوره، مربوط به گروهى از سران مشركان قريش است كه گفتند: اى محمّد! تو بيا از آيين ما پيروى كن، ما نيز از آيين تو پيروى مى كنيم و تو را در تمام امتيازات خود شريك مى سازيم. يك سال تو خدايان ما را عبادت كن و سال ديگر ما خداى تو را عبادت مى كنيم. اگر آيين تو بهتر باشد ما در آن شريك شده ايم و بهره خود را گرفته ايم و اگر آيين ما بهتر باشد تو در آيين ما شريك شده و بهره ات را از آن گرفته اى.
پيامبر در پاسخ به اين پيشنهاد فرمود: پناه بر خدا كه من چيزى را همتاى او قرار دهم. گفتند: دست كم بعضى از خدايان ما را لمس كن و از آن ها تبرّك بجوى تا ما تو را تصديق كنيم و خداى تو را بپرستيم.
پيامبر فرمود: من منتظر فرمان پروردگار هستم.
در اين هنگام سوره كافرون نازل شد و پيامبر(صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) اين گونه راهنمايى شد:
«بگو: اى كافران! آنچه را شما مى پرستيد من نمى پرستم. و نه شما آنچه را من مى پرستم مى پرستيد، و نه من هرگز آنچه را شما پرستش كرده ايد مى پرستم، و نه شما آنچه را كه من مى پرستم پرستش مى كنيد؛ پس آيين شما براى خودتان و آيين من براى خودم!»[1]
پس اين سوره پاسخى قاطع به پيشنهاد نادرست كافران است و به موضوع تبليغ دين و دعوت به اسلام مربوط نمى شود. خدا در اين سوره روشن ساخت كه بر سر گوهر توحيد نمى توان معامله كرد و اين، به معنى متوقف كردن دعوت به توحيد نيست. پيامبر(صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)وظيفه داشت كه همه مردم را به دين خدا دعوت كند و اگر كسى درخواست معامله بر سر دين داشت، پيامبر بايد درخواست او را قاطعانه ردّ مى كرد و مى گفت: (لَكُمْ دينُكُمْ وَ لِىَ دِين؛ آيين شما براى خودتان و آيين من براى خودم.)
